Arirang Korean Barbecue Releases New Menu
The first Korean restaurant to open in Perth way back in 1999 is bringing in a new era with a revamped menu to reflect the modern twists in Korean cuisine and bring focus back to a few classics. The new menu features the core offering of Korean barbecue and compliments the ‘Cook it Yourself’ barbecue menu with some new fusion dishes reflecting modern day western influences on Korean cuisine.
COO of Arirang Australia, Daniel Yu said that the new menu marks a new era for the long established restaurant “In just over 15 years of trade this is one of our most significant menu upgrades to date, we wanted to focus on our core and traditional dishes but also bring in some new exciting dishes which aren’t found on your everyday Korean menu.”
“We consider ourselves an establishment in the Perth CBD, we have been here on Barrack street since 1999 and seen a lot of changes. We wouldn’t have been able to stay open so long without the support of the local WA community so we really want to extend our appreciation. Our family came to Perth with a small dream to make a better life and Perth has really given a wonderful opportunity to our entire family”
Some of the new dishes on the menu include popular Korean variations on fried chicken, cheese inspired fusion with kimchi cheese fried rice, and a Korean-Mexican loaded fries with Korean bulgogi, fried kimchi, cheese and sour cream. Food isn’t the only thing that received a make-over with a new cocktail menu that showcases Korean liquor such as Soju and Makgeoli.
